Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-22
Short version: we do not store, log, share, or sell the text of your resume. We never use it to train any AI model.
What happens when you check a resume
- Your browser sends the resume text (and optional job description) to our API server.
- Our server forwards it to our LLM provider (currently DeepSeek) for analysis.
- The analysis is returned to your browser and shown on screen.
- We do not save the resume text to any database or file. The request is processed in-memory and discarded.
What we do log
- Standard HTTP server logs (IP, timestamp, route) — used only for rate-limiting (5 checks/day per IP) and abuse prevention.
- Aggregate analytics (page views, country, browser) via Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4. These do not include resume content.
Third-party processors
- DeepSeek — processes resume text to produce the analysis. Per their terms, API inputs are not used to train their models for our account tier.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and runs the API edge function (Workers + Pages). Resume text passes through Cloudflare's edge but is not retained.
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate visit analytics (no resume content).
- Google AdSense (when active) — serves ads based on standard signals.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies: anonymous analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and, when ads are active, AdSense cookies. We do not set any cookie related to the content of your resume.
Your rights
Because we don't store your resume, there's nothing to delete. For analytics or ad data, you can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out and the Google Ads settings.
